Meet the Trainers
Meet Your Yellow Belt Trainer:
Charis Grossman
Charis Grossman is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) from the Project Management Institute (PMI®), a Six Sigma Black Belt, and a trained Genuine Leadership and Stellar Service Facilitator that focuses on Customer Service. She is currently an instructor and senior consultant with St. Petersburg College, State College of Florida and The Performance Institute. Her expertise is in the training and facilitation of Lean Six Sigma and Project Management. She has extensive experience working with both the private and public sectors.
Charis has over 13 years experience working as a project manager. She has personally led new projects resulting in the delivery of new drugs, software and processes. In the last seven years her passion has become integrating Lean Six Sigma in organizations. By using Lean Six Sigma, companies can establish a culture of continuous change where all employees are moving toward a common strategy to improve business performance. These organizations have an inherent inclination toward innovation. Charis’s goal is to facilitate the adoption of a culture of continuous improvement at companies and agencies to convert strategy, to ACTION and success.
Meet Your Green Belt Trainer:
Daniel Zucker
Daniel Zucker, Principal Consultant, Master Six Sigma Black Belt, The Operari Group
Daniel Zucker grew up in San Antonio working with various organizations in Project
Management and Business Architecture. He currently works for The Operari Group in
San Antonio, Texas holding the position of Principal Consultant and Master Six Sigma
Black Belt. Within this position, he has the opportunity to help companies transform their
IT and Business with project management and business systems development.
In 2000, Daniel began his business system journey beginning with Six Sigma, where he
received his Black Belt. Later, learning and practicing the Toyota Production system, the
“Theory of Constraints”, ISO 9001, and Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI).
In 2003, Daniel was awarded his PMP certification and his Master of Science degree in
Management of Technology from University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). In late
2003, Daniel published his thesis, “Integrating Project Management with a Six Sigma
System”. Daniel has continued his research and practice in the area of change
management with two more articles discussing business system integration. In 2009
Daniel was awarded his Masters of Science in Industrial Engineering from St. Mary’s
University publishing his second thesis “Characterization of Antithetic Sequences in
Flowshop Scheduling”. Daniel’s work in the area of business efficiency and work flow
development emphases his continued pursuit of business process improvement and
understanding.
Daniel volunteers his time to various professional associations and plays tennis as much as possible.
